The Amiga CD32 is the first standalone 32-bit CD-ROM game console, designed by Amiga Technologies. Form-factor-wise a thin rectangular and it is based on the Motorola 68000 clocked at 14.3 MHz. The machine has 2 MB of RAM, a NEC V30 VGA-compatible graphics chip with up to 4 MB capability, custom sound (three-pulse code modulation), and includes all input ports (two RETRO-style controller ports, serial, parallel ADB, composite, S-Video, and SCSI). Packageable in a smaller casing, the CD32 appears without computer peripheral support.
