The Rumble Fish 2 brings new life to its sequel with updated gameplay mechanics and fresh characters. The offensive and defensive meters now reach three levels each, with some supers consuming varying amounts of bars. A new Boost Dive mode consumes one bar from both players' meters, placing the character in a unique special mode with distinct properties per-character.
The game introduces five new playable characters:
The Rumble Fish 2 offers a diverse cast, including Sheryl, an assassin who uses wire-based attacks; Mito, a bokken-wielding fighter; Bazoo, a long-range melee specialist; Lud, a rushdown-oriented gauntlet user; and Hazama and Beatrice, two bosses that can be unlocked using codes.
