Surf's Up is a prototype surfing game for the Atari 2600 that utilizes Amiga's JoyBoard controller. Players stand on the JoyBoard and balance a stick-figure surfer as he rides waves, avoids sea critters and obstacles, and aims for high scores that trigger music and a volcanic eruption. Though never officially released, the game features simple wave graphics, a calm ocean backdrop, and a unique first-person surf perspective, making it the only dedicated surfing title for the 2600.
