Confidential Mission is a light-gun compatible shooting game most easily likened to Sega's Virtua Cop series. You play as either Howard Gibson or Jean Clifford, both super-agents a la James Bond, and you are taken through scenarios shooting enemies and attempting to avoid civilian casualties.
The game features a mix of action and adventure gameplay, with an emphasis on quick reflexes and strategy. Gameplay involves shooting enemies, using special shots like the "Justice Shot" which allows you to disable an enemy without killing them, and trying to complete objectives while avoiding harm to civilians.
