The game's story takes a dark turn when Kei discovers the same murder he saw in the mysterious email on the TV news the next day. As he delves deeper, he must navigate through a fictional OS desktop to access various web channels and applications that hold clues to unraveling the mystery.

Gameplay involves exploring the virtual world, accessing pre-defined applications, and interacting with mini-games to progress the story or create a more believable atmosphere. The mail system keeps track of received e-mails, allowing players to read and delete them as needed. Other applications, such as data, config, and file management, serve various purposes in completing the game.
