Short Circuit puts you in the role of robot Number 5, who must escape a lab after becoming self-aware. You collect hardware and software upgrades granting abilities such as jumping or firing a laser. Avoiding security and other robots is key, and once outside, you must also survive wild animals and pursuers. The game blends search-and-collect gameplay inside the lab with action-packed jumping and shooting sequences in the outside world.


