In a post-apocalyptic world, Xenoblade Chronicles X tells the story of Rex, an amnesiac who lives on the Bionis, a floating city inhabited by humans. After his home is destroyed, Rex sets out to find a new purpose in life and becomes embroiled in a conflict between humans and mechanical creatures known as Mechon.
The gameplay involves exploring a vast open world, completing quests, and battling enemies.
