Football Frenzy is an American Football game where you can pick from ten fictional teams to play in a tournament or head-to-head with another player.
The game's action is seen from above, but players are viewed from an angle. Before each play, the offensive player chooses a run, pass or kick play, while the defensive player cannot choose plays. The play selection changes throughout the tournament or depending on the field position in a two-player game.
Playing Football Frenzy , you use a joystick and four buttons to control your actions. The A button is used for basic actions, with rapid tapping making your player run faster. On passing plays, buttons B, C and D select the receiver, while on defense, the B button switches to the defender closest to the ball.
