Rugrats: Castle Capers

The story revolves around Angelica, who claims herself queen of Stu Pickles' castle. She has hidden all the Rugrats' toys inside, prompting the player to reclaim them in six side-scrolling levels. At the end of each level, one item is found that was taken by Angelica.

Gameplay involves collecting food to distract enemies like squirrels and cuckoo birds, as well as choosing which Rugrat to play as. The chosen Rugrat will be encountered along the way as non-playable characters (NPCs). Completing the game requires using the chosen Rugrat, and additional items such as diapers, coins, and cookies can be collected to increase life.

Each level has a unique theme, with the Rugrats able to walk, climb, jump, and sometimes fly through them.
