The Ghostbusters are called to action as New York City becomes increasingly haunted. With an unknown number of ghosts on the rise, their task is to reduce the paranormal energy in the city before it's too late. The team must use their proton packs and ghost traps to capture and contain the growing number of malevolent spirits.

As the PK energy soars, the Ghostbusters must stay one step ahead of the ghosts to prevent a catastrophic showdown with Gozer. The team's success is measured by their ability to keep the city's paranormal energy under control, and players must work tirelessly to achieve this goal.
