Space Debris is a third-person perspective space shooter that follows the story of UED pilot James Bryant, humanity's last hope. The game takes place across 10 levels with 6 different attack ships to pilot. The majority of the levels are linear, but there are also numerous free-roaming levels which give the player control over navigation. In these levels, the player must use their skills to navigate through obstacles and challenges.

The gameplay is fast-paced and action-packed, with a variety of attacks to choose from and upgradeable ships. The game features five different power-ups that enhance weapon capabilities, allowing players to take on increasingly difficult enemies. Medals are awarded based on level performance, adding an extra layer of challenge and competition.
