G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra

The gameplay is similar to Neo Contra with a behind-the-back view. The player uses various weapons, including machine guns and rocket launchers, and the Delta 6 Accelerator Suit makes them invulnerable for a short time. They must fight their way through hordes of enemies, including soldiers, tanks, and jet fighters, as well as standard end-of-level bosses.

The player can choose from 12 different Joes, unlocking more as they complete missions. Each Joe has their own weapon and strengths depending on their rank: Commandos are great at close range, Heavy Weapons are good at shooting from long distances, and Soldiers are a mix of both. The game also features vehicles scattered throughout the stages and a two-player co-op option that allows a friend to join at any time.
