Sonar Search is a unique spin on Videocart-14 , featuring the basic gameplay idea of Battleship. The player must navigate the grid, taking shots and hearing a sonar ping noise that gets shorter as they get closer to hitting a target.
The game comes with two modes: one-player and two-player. In one-player mode, the player has limited chances to sink the enemy fleet, while in two-player mode, players take turns trying to sink each other's ships before having their own ships sunk.
