The Videocart-17 is not just a pinball game as its title may suggest. Instead, it's a unique Breakout variant that challenges players to bounce a ball off of a paddle into a wall of bricks, chipping them off one by one. Each brick destroyed earns the player points, with different colors worth varying amounts.

The gameplay is centered around maneuvering the paddle under the falling ball to hit it back up into the wall of bricks. However, this requires precise timing and skill, as missing a hit results in losing a life. The game ends when 7 balls are lost. Players can also compete with others using one of the two-player game modes available.


