Bucky O'Hare is a side-scrolling action game based on the cartoon of the same name, where Captain Bucky O'Hare and his loyal crew - Blinky, Deadeye, Jenny, and Willy - fight to save the Aniverse from the scourge of the Toad Armada. That is until Bucky O'Hare 's ship is attacked and his crew taken prisoner. Now a lone bunny on a mission, Bucky O'Hare must fight to rescue his comrades from four hostile planets and then confront the Air Marshall on his flagship.

The gameplay involves Bucky O'Hare navigating through levels, fighting enemies and bosses, while also managing his life and weapon bars. The main abilities are a jump and a blaster weapon, which can be charged up to make an even more powerful jump. New weapons can be obtained throughout the game from Bucky O'Hare 's crew members.
