The Wonderbook: Book of Spells is a fantasy augmented reality game where players interact with a magical world through a combination of motion controls and the Wonderbook peripheral. The game uses the Move motion controller, which is displayed as a magic wand in-game, to cast spells and manipulate objects.
The game is developed with the help of Harry Potter writer J. K. Rowling, and is set at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The game consists of five chapters, each containing four spells to learn through short story sequences and practice sessions. Players can create a profile on Pottermore and choose their house and wand type.
The game is available for the PlayStation 3 console and was released on November 13, 2012.
