Devil World is a scrolling maze game, strikingly similar to Pac-Man , only with an undeniable religious bent. The story follows a player who must collect dots in an automatically-scrolling maze directed by the devil himself, use crosses to power up and destroy his minions, and be careful not to get crushed by the walls.
The gameplay involves navigating through the maze, collecting all the dots, and then sealing up the source of the enemies to make the devil temporarily retreat. After this, a timed bonus stage begins where the player can control the scrolling, followed by the next round starting from the beginning.
