Days Gone

Deacon St. John is living as a drifter with his old biker gang buddy, Boozer, in a world that has been reshaped by a global pandemic. The infected roam the earth, fast and ferocious, moving in packs and hordes, and have very little in common with zombies.

The gameplay revolves around skills and upgrades, with Deacon earning experience points by killing infected or bandits, and performing quests. There are three skill trees: Melee, Ranged, and Survival, each with five tiers and three skills per tier to unlock.

Bike upgrades work differently, with settlements offering unique currency and trust levels. By selling ears collected from killed infected, players can earn credits in the settlement they sell it at, or by performing tasks for settlements to increase their trust level and earn more credits.

Scavenging is also essential to survive, with players needing to find materials such as empty glass bottles, gas cans, and specific branch types to craft items like molotovs and arrows. The motorcycle needs gas and repairs, which can be found in old gas stations or gas canisters.

As Deacon navigates this treacherous world, he must use his skills and upgrades to stay alive, taking down infected and bandits in a desperate bid for survival.
