Infamous First Light is an action-packed adventure game that follows the story of Cole MacGrath, a young man with electrical powers. After being presumed dead by his friends and family, Cole sets out to find redemption and take down those responsible for his death. However, he soon discovers that his resurrection is not without consequences, as he now possesses even more powerful abilities than before.

As Cole navigates through the game's open world, players will engage in fast-paced combat against various enemies, using Cole's electrical powers to blast and electrify his foes. The gameplay is divided into three main types: exploration, combat, and platforming, which are all intertwined to create a dynamic experience.

Players can switch between Cole's different abilities at will, such as his standard electricity blasts or more advanced attacks like the "Vortex" ability, which creates a massive whirlwind that sucks in enemies. With an emphasis on player choice and flexibility, Infamous First Light offers a unique experience that sets it apart from other action-adventure games.
