Dream Master is a platformer that follows Nemo, a young boy from London, as he is summoned to the kingdom of Slumberland. The fantasy realm is filled with strange creatures and dream-like locations, where Nemo soon discovers that the King has been kidnapped by the Prince of Nightmares. Princess Camille requests his help in rescuing the King.

Players control Nemo as he navigates through various levels, such as the Mushroom Forest and Train Land. His only weapon is a sack of candy, which he uses to stun enemies and enlist the help of friendly animals like apes and moles. These creatures aid him in traversing different terrain and overcoming obstacles.
