Tumblestone is a match-three puzzle game with some mechanics reminiscent of Magical Drop and Tetris Attack , but the core gameplay mechanic is different. In this action-packed adventure, players must clear colored blocks that move down from the top of the screen by shooting them with a character at the bottom.
The gameplay involves consecutively selecting three blocks of the same color to progress, while blocks of different colors will lower the bar more quickly or lead to failure, depending on the game type.
Single-player mode introduces new puzzle elements in each zone, including rainbow blocks as jokers, grey blocks that are obstacles, conveyor belts, rotating columns, and more. The game also features various modes such as Story mode, Quest mode, Heartbeat mode, Marathon, and Infinite Puzzle mode.
The game supports local multiplayer with up to four players or competing against bots, while online multiplayer offers leaderboards and modes like Battle mode, Tug of War, and Puzzle Race.
