Based on a Norse mythology-inspired story, Story of Thor 2 takes players through various levels based on different regions of Asgard and Jotunheim. The protagonist must navigate obstacles and enemies to reach the final goal, all while fighting against the forces of evil.
The gameplay in Story of Thor 2 is fast-paced action-adventure with platforming elements, requiring players to control their character through various environments, using melee attacks and projectiles to defeat enemies. The game features a variety of power-ups that can be collected to enhance the player's abilities.
Story of Thor 2 was released on the Sega Saturn in 1996 and is considered a lesser-known title within the action-adventure genre, offering an entertaining experience for fans of Norse mythology and fast-paced gameplay.
