Pokken Tournament is a fighting game that brings together iconic Pokémon characters and real-world fighters. The story takes place in a world where humans have discovered a mysterious energy known as "Spectra" which gives them incredible abilities. Pokémon, on the other hand, are unable to use their powers due to their inability to understand human language.

Players choose from a diverse cast of characters, each with unique abilities and fighting styles inspired by real-world martial arts. The gameplay focuses on fast-paced battles where players must strategically use special moves and combos to outmaneuver their opponents.
