Total Overdose is an Action & Adventure game set in Maya jungle, where two men named Ram and Tommy are on a quest for truth. They are searching for their missing father, Ernesto Cruz, who disappeared under mysterious circumstances in 1989. The brothers must navigate through the Mexican wilderness, urban environments, and underworld societies to uncover the truth about their family's past.
Players can control Ram or Tommy as they explore large areas on foot or commandeer vehicles. The game features a fighting game-styled combo system and smart shooting mechanics that unlock new equipment and abilities. A "Rewind" system allows players to repeat a sequence, nail a perfect combo, or turn back time to avoid mistakes.
