Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark

The gameplay focuses on cooperative play, allowing up to four players to work together cooperatively to destroy waves of enemies in multiplayer mode called Escalation. In this mode, there are eight maps with fifteen waves of increasingly difficult enemies to conquer. Characters can be upgraded and new ones unlocked through leveling up or completing challenges, with bonus rewards for achieving specific milestones. The game features a range of weapons, including car and air-based transformations, as well as unique abilities for certain transformers.

Players can control nine different characters, each with their own unique abilities and playstyles. The online multiplayer mode offers over 40 playable characters, including some based on the movie or the game universe, and the Generation 1 Optimus Prime. Character upgrades are shared between single-player and multiplayer modes, providing a seamless experience.
