Ys I & II Chronicles Premium Edition is an upgraded version of Ys I & II Complete , itself an enhanced remake of Ys: Book I & II. This version features completely redone artwork applied to character portraits during cutscenes. The cutscenes themselves have been somewhat expanded as well, and the soundtrack remixed. This release also slightly enhanced the in-game graphics and enlarges the viewing area by removing the large status display that occupied the lower part of the screen in the earlier version.
Players take on the role of Adol Christin, a young adventurer, as he searches for his sister and becomes embroiled in a battle against an evil empire. The game's story is full of twists and turns, with unexpected allies and enemies emerging throughout the journey.
Ys I & II Chronicles Premium Edition is an RPG that challenges players to explore dungeons, fight monsters, and solve puzzles to progress through the story. With a unique combat system and a vast array of characters to recruit, players will need to use their wits and skills to overcome the challenges ahead.
