Dare Devil Derby 3D is a cartoonish-type of destruction derby where players control one of eight unique characters and compete on over 30 tracks, including jungles, canyons, city streets, underwater, outer space, and more. Power-ups can be collected to boost speed or gain weapons to knock out opponents.
The game features various single-player modes, such as one-on-one races, Knockouts, where the winner is the last car still operational, and a grand prix mode with 10 races, where players must finish in the top three to advance. Meeting certain point requirements can also unlock a World Series of Racing competition to become champion.
Players can compete against up to eight friends simultaneously using the multi-tap adapter.
