Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs

The gameplay involves fighting and solving puzzles through twenty levels. The player uses Flint's self-created gadgets, such as a heat gun made from a hair dryer or a mechanical boxing glove, to melt obstacles composed of ice cream or punch food. Each level features thirty specific destroyable food items. Destroying all of them unlocks a piece of a blueprint for a special item.

The game also includes a co-op mode where a second player can join in at any time as Flint's pet monkey Steve.
