Cross Edge

The gameplay involves turn-based team battles where players must string together specific moves into chain attack sequences to succeed. By unlocking stronger combinations, players can increase their characters' stats and abilities by acquiring additional costumes called "forms" and redressing their characters in them. Players can also change female characters' physical appearances based on the form they're wearing.

The goal of the game is to release souls, which can be found and collected by searching around area maps. Exposure to souls grants players items or unlocks events, while maps also point players to helpful locations such as event points, save points, and places to buy, sell, and trade items.
