The story of Digimon World: Next Order takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where humans and Digimon coexist. The player assumes the role of a Digimon trainer who must navigate this new world and uncover the truth behind a mysterious event known as the "Great War". Along the way, they will encounter other trainers, Digimon, and factions vying for power.
