The story of Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 Limited Edition takes place in a world where CPUs have become sentient and are at war with each other. The game follows the journey of Chilblain, a CPU who is captured by the evil CPU, Leene, and sent to a prison known as the "Underworld". With the help of his friends, Chilblain must escape from the Underworld and join forces with other CPUs to take down Leene and her army.

The gameplay in Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 Limited Edition is a traditional RPG experience. Players control Chilblain as he explores dungeons, battles enemies, and collects items and equipment to upgrade his abilities. The game features turn-based combat with a variety of attack types and defensive strategies. Players can also build relationships between CPUs, known as "Partners", which can provide unique benefits in battle.
