Sorcery Saga: The Curse of the Great Curry God is a role-playing game that takes place on a mystical island. The story follows a young girl named Shizuka, who has been chosen to become the "Queen of Curry" and must use her culinary skills to defeat the evil Goddess of Boredom , who has cast a spell over the world.
Gameplay involves navigating a series of dungeons, battling monsters and collecting ingredients for Shizuka's curry dishes. The combat system is turn-based, with players able to use a variety of spells and abilities to defeat enemies. Players can also upgrade Shizuka's equipment and abilities as they progress through the game.
The game features a unique "curry" system, where players must gather ingredients to create powerful curry dishes that give Shizuka new abilities and enhance her stats.
