Wolverine: Adamantium Rage is a side-scrolling platform beat-em-up. Wolverine, aka Logan, searches for clues about his past and identity using the computers of the X-Men mansion. He receives coordinates to Canada and is told to come alone, leading him on a mission.
The main character has many combat moves and great agility. He can also climb walls using his wrist-spikes. Bonus pickups are available in the level maps, often hidden thoroughly. The player must use Wolverine's agility and climbing abilities to explore every corner.
