There is something wrong with your brain. It is being taken over by the Devil Ugar himself! Your only recourse is to fight back against this hostile invasion. Thankfully, your mind has created the ultimate weapon: a ship with which you can navigate the five causes (stages) and blast back the Devil's evil minions. It is your only hope, your one last chance to free your mind from this evil influence.

Psychosis , a side-scrolling shooter for the TurboGrafx-16, is set in a world where each level represents a different location within your mind. You must blast everything in sight while collecting power-ups to upgrade your weapon and shield. Two floating balls, resembling mechanical eyes, can be directed 360 degrees around your ship to act as a shield or direct your weapon. Battle your way through each stage, defeat the boss at the end, and eventually face off against the Devil Ugar himself.

The gameplay is fast-paced and action-packed, requiring quick reflexes and strategic thinking. As you progress through the game, new power-ups and upgrades become available to aid you in your fight against the Devil's minions. With its unique blend of side-scrolling shooter action and psychological theme, Psychosis offers a thrilling gaming experience.
