LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game

Puzzles in the game require building items with Lego-bricks or opening locked doors, aside from the playable characters, players can also take control of animals like a dog or a bird. The story allows players to choose one of the four movies and a chapter to play, each movie has four chapters.

The gameplay starts with Jack Sparrow meeting Will Turner in a duel, after which Jack is put in prison. The Black Pearl arrives at the port and raids the city, freeing Elizabeth who was captured by pirates. Players can then join forces with Jack and Will to steal a ship from the navy and follow the Pearl to rescue Elizabeth.

The gameplay continues as players navigate through the four movies, each with its own storyline and challenges. In the second movie, Jack and his crew search for the heart of Davy Jones to avoid his wrath. In the third movie, the Navy uses the heart to force Davy Jones into fighting for them, leading to a battle between pirates and the Navy.

In the final movie, Jack and Captain Barbosa search for a source of everlasting life, but are hunted by the Spanish navy who want to destroy it. The game features a Free Play mode that allows players to revisit completed chapters and play with any character they choose.

Players can use in-game items to buy new characters, special features or items, and spend their money in the HUB world, which is a pirate bay with several shops. The story can be resumed at any time from this hub world.
