LEGO Marvel Super Heroes

The game's world consists of an open-world Manhattan and a series of self-standing story mode levels set in other worlds like Asgard, Bifrost, and Asteroid M. Marvel-related buildings in New York can be explored, each with its own storyline narrated by Deadpool.

Gameplay revolves around exploring Manhattan to unlock new characters, obtain Gold Bricks, and collect other items such as Character tokens and Vehicle tokens. These allow access to extra outfits, vehicles, and bonus levels. Characters are unlocked through progression, collecting Gold Bricks, or purchasing DLC packs like the Super Pack and Asgard Pack.

The game features 150 playable characters, each with their own unique Super Powers and moves. The in-game dialogues are all voice-acted by a cast of 27 people. On Wii U, players can enjoy off-TV play with the GamePad, and in two-player mode, one player can use the display while the other uses it to avoid split-screen.
