The story of Xbox 360 Console Gears of Wars 3 Edition follows Marcus Fenix and his allies as they battle against the Locust Horde. The game takes place four years after the events of Gears of Wars: Judgment , with the Locust threat still looming over humanity.
The gameplay in Xbox 360 Console Gears of Wars 3 Edition is focused on third-person shooter combat, with an emphasis on cover-based shooting and intense action sequences. Players control Marcus Fenix as he battles against hordes of Locust soldiers, using a variety of firearms and abilities to take down his enemies.
The game features a number of new multiplayer modes, including Overrun and King of the Hill, in addition to its traditional co-op campaign mode.
