Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited is a new release of The Elder Scrolls Online , replacing the previous version entirely. This is also the only version available on consoles. The biggest difference is the removal of the mandatory monthly subscription fee. The game now only requires a single purchase of the game, optionally with DLC expansion packs, crowns as a premium currency, and an ESO Plus Membership as a monthly subscription to receive access to all DLC packs as long as the subscription is active.
The gameplay revolves around character progression, with players able to create their own unique characters and embark on quests. The game features a rich storyline with various factions and characters, allowing players to choose their own path and make meaningful decisions that impact the world. With a vast open world to explore, players can discover new locations, complete missions, and interact with non-playable characters.
