Overcooked 2 is a cooking simulation video game that challenges players to work together to prepare and serve meals in a chaotic kitchen environment. The story takes place on various levels, where the player's character is paired with an AI partner or another human player to navigate through increasingly difficult kitchens, each with its own unique obstacles and challenges.

Gameplay involves working with your team to chop ingredients, cook dishes, and serve meals before the timer runs out. The game requires communication, timing, and strategy to succeed. Players must also manage their kitchen's cleanliness, as a dirty kitchen can lead to penalties and time penalties for their team.
