Rare Replay

The included games were previously not available on Xbox One. Some of the older games have additional features such as scanlines and unlimited lives. The games are introduced with a cinematic presentation. The Xbox 360 titles need to be installed separately and require online activation. Online multiplayer is available for some of the original multiplayer games, as well as most of the DLC. Achievements from previously played Xbox 360 games can be carried over.

Also included are two galleries: Rare Revealed and Snapshots. Rare Revealed contains behind-the-scenes content, concept art, unreleased music, and video clips about the studio's history and game development. Snapshots contains small segments or mini-games of sixteen games in the collection as challenges. Certain achievements and milestones can be rewarded with stamps to unlock content in the Rare Revealed gallery. Some popular titles such as GoldenEye 007 and Donkey Kong Country are not included due to licensing issues.
