Game Guide
Extracted from the original game manual
This is a charming adventure game where players help Hello Kitty, who has been pranked and stranded on an unfamiliar island, find her way back home. You'll guide her through this strange new world, overcoming challenges to reunite her with her vacation.
Story
Story
Hello Kitty was enjoying a vacation at a beach resort. She fell asleep in the warm sunshine.
When she woke up, she was on an unfamiliar island, surrounded by the smell of hibiscus flowers. She wondered where she was.
Badtz-Maru, the mischievous penguin, had played a trick on her. Alone in this strange world, Hello Kitty began to panic.
She cried, "Oh no! What am I going to do?" Despite normally being cheerful, she had tears in her eyes.
With determination, she said, "I must get home somehow." She wiped away her tears and started looking for a way home.
Only you will be able to determine Hello Kitty's fate and help her get back to her relaxing vacation. Good luck!

These are the game blocks:
Cubes that stay
Cubes made of bricks (or cubes that appear as pictured below in the Game Boy® or Game Boy® pocket systems) will not disappear even if you put three of them in a row.
The cubes without a pattern and a matching color that are connected to them will disappear when lined up properly.
These are the blocks that stay:

Move onto falling cubes
With perfect timing, Hello Kitty can move onto falling cubes, a technique needed to clear a specific stage.
Passwords
The Password screen is shown after finishing a land. Write down the password to resume a game already in progress the next time you play.
