Xenosaga I & II HD Remaster is a remake of the classic RPG trilogy, set in a distant future where humans have colonised other planets. The story follows Shion Uzuki, a young woman who becomes embroiled in a conspiracy involving an alien force known as the Gnosis.

The gameplay involves exploring 3D environments, interacting with characters and making choices that impact the story. Players control Shion and her allies as they battle against enemies and uncover the secrets behind the Gnosis. The combat system has been updated to include new abilities and combos, while still maintaining the challenging gameplay of the original.
