A 1978 release for the ZX Spectrum, Match Point is a simple tennis game that challenges players to serve and volley their way to victory. The game takes place on a virtual court, where players must use the correct timing and spin to hit the ball over the net in such a way as to prevent their opponent from returning it.
Gameplay involves using the keyboard to control your player's movements and shots. You can move left or right along the court, jump up to hit the ball, and use different types of serves and volleys to try and outmanoeuvre your opponent.
