Maldita Castilla EX is a renovated and extended version of Maldita Castilla . This time, the independent developer Locomalito had the support of Abylight Studios, a videogame developer/publisher from Spain.
The game is inspired by European folklore and cavalry novels. It has the same graphics and art style as classic '80s action/adventure games like Ghosts 'n Goblins , but with improved resolution and details for modern platforms.
You play as Spanish knight Don Ramiro, who must move to the right, killing enemies along the way. Collecting treasure chests will help you on your journey. You'll also encounter bosses that you need to defeat to progress. Your goal is to get through all the bosses to find and defeat the source of evil in Castile.
