Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

The multiplayer component has been brought over from the original game and was initially launched with ten multiplayer maps. Later, a free update added six additional maps, which were released before the end of 2016. A microtransaction system for multiplayer was also introduced shortly after the release, followed by a supply drop system and customization items such as emblems, calling cards, and character skins in December 2016.
