Mortal Kombat

Five hundred years ago, an ancient and respected Shaolin fighting tournament was corrupted by an evil sorcerer named Shang Tsung. He brought Prince Goro, a four-armed warrior from the Shokan race, to participate in the tournament. With Goro's victory over Kung Lao, he became the undefeated champion for five hundred years. As the last tournament approaches, Raiden enacts a plan to help the humans win. Seven fighters enter the arena on Shang Tsung's mysterious island: Liu Kang, a Shaolin warrior; Sonya Blade, a Special Forces operative; Kano, a mercenary; Johnny Cage, an actor; Sub-Zero, an ice-wielding Lin Kuei warrior; Scorpion, his undead adversary; and Raiden himself.
