Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom is a computer conversion based on the Atari arcade game inspired by the second movie in the series. As Indy, you must complete multiple cycles of three different types of levels: mine, mine cart, and temple. In the mine level, you'll navigate through a treacherous mine, swinging across chasms with your whip, avoiding deadly obstacles like bats, snakes, and fireball-throwing Mola Ram.
The gameplay involves strategic timing and quick reflexes as you progress through each cycle. As the levels become increasingly complex, you'll encounter more challenging obstacles, including broken tracks and moving guards in mine carts. The temple level presents a unique challenge as you attempt to reach the Sankara stone while fending off Mola Ram's attacks.
The game features a unique layout for its temple levels, which remain consistent throughout multiple cycles. As you progress through the game, you'll eventually face a showdown with Mola Ram on the rope bridge.
