Set within Type-Moon's "Nasuverse", Witch on the Holy Night is a fantasy visual novel that explores a linear narrative, where the story unfolds from a third-person perspective. The tale takes place in Japan during the late 1980s and revolves around Aoko Aozaki, a high school student who becomes embroiled in the world of magic after her grandfather appoints her as the head of the Aozaki family.
The player joins forces with a young witch named Alice Kuonji to uncover the identities of mysterious intruders disrupting the magical field in their town. As they delve deeper, they become entangled in a complex web of events that lead them to the truth.
