You are a secret agent sent on an important mission to recover enemy documents. There are enemy assassins trying to stop you.

Infiltrate is an action-packed game where you move your character using the joystick and press the button to fire. The direction of the fire depends on the direction you're moving. When near an elevator, it will automatically board when available or you'll have to walk across it manually.

The gameplay involves navigating through levels while avoiding enemy assassins who can shoot at you. You can duck by pulling down on the joystick, but shooting is not allowed when you're in this position. If an assassin hits you or touches you, you lose a life. Your goal is to reach the top or bottom of each floor without being hit.

The game has several difficulty settings and scoring options:

Infiltrate offers two main modes: one-player and two-player games. The difficulty level increases as you progress through levels, with some having invisible assassins that can be tricky to spot. In addition, the game rewards players for completing missions and has bonus points for shooting assassins in elevators.

The scoring system is straightforward:

Completing all floor levels in either direction earns 3,000 points.

Shooting an assassin awards 250 points.

Assassins shot while riding elevators receive a 75-point bonus.

Every 10,000 points earned, the player receives an extra agent to aid them on their mission.
