The world was once invaded by a great demon army wielding powerful magic. Many lives were lost, but the demon king was ultimately defeated. However, many demon soldiers remained, attacking from the shadows; to combat the demons, magic academies were established to train demon hunters, and eventually the demons were eradicated and peace returned to the land. These academies remain, and magic has become simply another part of daily life.
Another Memories is a simulation adventure game from the creators of Yūkyū Gensōkyoku, with a focus on managing schedules and relationships as well as card-based battles. The player controls Jeynus, deciding his schedule for each week, exploring the campus and city and speaking with other students, and going on expeditions fighting creatures.
Another Memories is released for the PlayStation on 1998-06-13 . The gameplay involves constructing a deck of cards consisting of both element cards and spell cards, using them in turn-based battles. Different activities will increase his stats, trigger various events and lead to relationships with the various female students, and determine his prospects and the game's ending after two in-game years.
